Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah (/ˈhɑːnəkə/ hah-nə-kə; Hebrew: חֲנֻכָּה khanuká, Tiberian: khanuká, usually spelled חנוכה, pronounced [χanuˈka] in Modern Hebrew, [ˈχanukə] or [ˈχanikə] in Yiddish; a transliteration also romanized as Chanukah or Ḥanukah) is a Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar. It is also known as the Festival of Lights and the Feast of Dedication.

The festival is observed by the kindling of the lights of a unique candelabrum, the nine-branched menorah orhanukiah, one additional light on each night of the holiday, progressing to eight on the final night. The typical menorah consists of eight branches with an additional visually distinct branch. The extra light, with which the others are lit, is called a shamash (Hebrew: שמש‎, "attendant") and is given a distinct location, usually above or below the rest.[1]

Other Hanukkah festivities include playing dreidel and eating oil based foods such as doughnuts and latkes.

Hanukkah became more widely celebrated beginning from the 1970s, when Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson called for public awareness and observance of the festival and encouraged the lighting of public menorahs.[2][3][4][5] Diane Ashton attributed the popularization of Hanukkah by some of the American Jewish community as a way to adapt to American life, because they could celebrate Hannukkah which occurs at around the same time as Christmas.[6]

I do not know this until now. So the Indians and the Jews have their festivals of lights. The USA also has Thanksgiving. The Muslims should have their festival of lights as their tradition too. Tradition is not about religion okay? To progress is to discard the negative traditions. There is positivity in having festival of lights because it is adapting to colors of the world.

When everything is dark, you cannot distinguish people. But when you shine the light on things, you will know their true colors.

The primary colors are red, yellow and blue while the black and white, I would call as the base colors.

The Muslims performed the usual circumambulation vigorously and briskly; and on recommendation by the Prophet they did their best to appear strong and steadfast in their circumambulation as the polytheists had spread rumours that they were weak because the fever of Yathrib (Madinah) had sapped their strength. They were ordered to run in the first three rounds and then walk in the remaining ones. The Makkans meanwhile aligned on the top of Qu‘aiqa‘an Mount watching the Muslims, tongue-tied at witnessing their strength and devotion. - Saifur Rahman al-Mubarakpuri, Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum.

The tradition is participating in track and field competitions vigorously and briskly.

Its because religions divide people while traditions unite us so the best way to communicate with people of a different religion is to share traditions with them.

tradition
a belief or behavior passed down within a group or society with symbolic meaning or special significance with origins in the past.

Abū ‘Abdallāh Muḥammad ibn Mūsā Al-Khwārizm, a Persian scholar born around 780, is sometimes called the “grandfather of computer science” and is credited with popularising the use of the decimal point. In fact, the word “algebra” comes from his algebraic mathematical treatise, called Hisab al-Jabr w'al-muqabala (The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing). His legacy can be seen in the statue erected outside the West Gate.
The universal traditions are Education and the Arts which consists of literature, painting, music, sports, entertainment and other creative activity.

The husband and wife also makes traditions for themselves that these are the rules they follow in their relationship. The boyfriend/girlfriend couple obviously is less serious. Thing is you do not put yourself in a position to break your rules cause that is disrespecting your partner. I mean these things are only to be shared by the couple, why would you share this with other people? Nuts. If you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Its called a personal space.

You know guys, this is the reason why married couples divorce is that their partner is not enough for them so they look for other people to fill the void.

Couples share intimate moments so if you watch them in their privacy its now called porn. PDAs are less intimate times so watch at your own risk because some people likes to watch people make out while some are bitter about it.

I'm not here to mess up your marriage guys, I am trying to fix your lives. If your partner cannot be trusted in small things, how can you trust the partner in big things? Get out asap because what you need in marriage is peace of mind. Say in Algebra, you start from Chapter One to learn the basics. You might skip the chapters if you are a student repeating the subject, you a reviewer or you the teacher or you a genius student.

I know that you wear clothes that is appropriate for the occasion. If you in the beach, men wear trunks and women the swimsuits. However if your woman likes her body to be ogled at by men, that is a big turn off for me, I don't know about you guys. The same thing for men who flirts around when they are tied up already. Its putting yourself in a position to cheat. Do not take that chance. If you love someone, you do not take that chance. Its because the married couple is exclusive for each other. As it should be. When you flirt around is you start breaking the bond. Do not go for flirts cause you can never have peace of mind.

Its normal to flirt? Hypocrites. You decide whether to flirt or not. If you are single, by all means, strip down and enjoy. This is why divorce is so easy in the states. Irreconcilable differences. Promiscuous sex, AIDs, HIV, unwanted pregnancy, abortion. Sex maniacs.

Hey guys, don't think that I hate you. I am frustrated. I think of my readers as my students and this is also how I want to raise my own kids if I am blessed to have them. If you do not understand me then I guess I am not your teacher.
