Labor Laws

Okay let us talk about work and all that jazz. Normally employees go through a probationary period of six months. But how many of these in probation are taken in as regular employees? I need statistical numbers, not the percentage that makes for a lot of guesswork. Irritating, just give the numbers so I can derive the percentage and see the big picture.

What is the statistics in shopping malls? Its because those in probation do not have the full benefits. They have no vacation and sick leaves. No thirteenth month pay. So if shopping malls hire them for less than six months is that they just replace them again. The employer can save a lot of money from this. The cycle of hiring goes on and on. Is it fair to treat people like this?

What do you expect from people who knows they are not going to be re-hired? It depends on the person because there are people with healthy working attitude that excellence is a habit for them. There are dreamers who will fight to be re-hired. There are also lousy employees, regular or not. And some get discouraged that they work as littlest as possible.

What are the skills needed to be a bagger? Is you put the items in the bag. Why the probation? What is there to probe for? This is reflex action. Why the hell you make lives hell for people? Give them one year or two year contracts as regular employees so they have job security and can plan their lives. The best is to give permanent position. What the hell are you?

You are a person born with a silver spoon. Yes I know that it is not your fault that you are born rich. So I am sorry for judging you because you did not experienced what its like to be poor, that you do not know most things about being poor. However the truth remains that this is an unfair labor practice. If you care about the little guys is you make it right. These people are given the contract they deserve working abroad in shops and supermarkets.

What is the purpose of you showing pictures? Where is the transparency in labor laws there? You ought to know better than that. Do you get the point?

Did you know that sales ladies do not have pockets in their dresses and their shoes are open-toed to avoid theft? Now you know.

When people are in probation period is like they work in illegal shops. Like where they sell guns in the black market. I heard that we have fine gun makers down in Cebu although they are illegal so workers do not get the benefits they deserve. So the police should clamp down on the owners, for them to register the business or shut them down. The same case for makers of fire crackers.

Its not a hassle to register your business, actually when your business is legitimate, there is less hassle. All you have to do is work hard and be creative. If your product is good then you have no problem selling it. I know because I was supposed to register my own business. Without telling you the details is its about food. What I have to do is fill up forms in the government agency, produce samples of the product, have the ingredients tested for chemical content and have your working place inspected that its hygienic for approval.

I love you. I love you. And I love you so. Hope you won't get tired hearing about it.
